Abstract

An unusually large glacial erratic, believed to be of Gowganda Tillite, has been rediscovered in May field Township, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Originally described and photographed by J. E. Hyde in 1936, the boulder is considerably larger than any previously reported Precambrian tillite erratics (White, 1939) from Ohio.
