Title: HIGH RESOLUTION SPECTROSCOPIC STUDIES OF $CH_{2}F_{2}$: THE $\nu_{a}$ BAND AT $528.7 cm^{-1}$ Creators: Deo, M. N.; D'Cunha, R.; Weber, A.; Olson, W. B. Issue Date: 1990 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: The analysis of the FTIR spectra of methylene fluoride in the region of the lowest CF2 bending fundamental has been completed. The spectra have been recorded with the NIST BOMEM DA3.002 spectrometer at an apodized resolution of $0,004 cm^{-1}$. Detailed assignments up to $J_{\max} = 55$ and $K_{\max} = 25$, have been carried out for the $\nu_{4}$, B type fundamental band centered at $528.7 cm^{-1}$. Watson's A type reduced Hamiltonian in the $I^{r}$ representation has been used in a combined weighted least squares fit of the FTIR, $microwave^{1}$ and far IR $data^{2}$ to obtain upper state molecular parameters. The experimental data are fitted well within the limits of their experimental accuracy. The details of the analysis will be discussed. Description: $^{1}$E. Hirota, J. Mol.
