Title: NEW MEASUREMENTS AND ANALYSIS OF $H_{2}^{16}O, H_{2}^{17}O$, AND $H_{2}^{16}O$ IN THE $6.2 \mu$ REGION Creators: Toth, R. A. Issue Date: 1989 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: The spectral region from 1000 to $2600 cm^{-1}$ was observed with the Kitt Peak FTS (McMath Solar telescope facility) at a resolution of $0.005 cm^{-1}$ For $H_{2}^{17}O$ and $H_{2}^{18}O$, isotopically enriched samples of $H_{2}^{17}O$ (-60\% $H_{2}^{17}O$ and -40\% $H_{2}^{18}O$)) and $H_{2}^{18}O$) (-98\% $H_{2}^{16}O$) O) were used. Values of line positions and strengths were derived from measurements in the 010-000 and 020-010 bands of the three species. The line positions measurements were analyzed to obtain rotational energy level values in the (000), (010), and (020) states. The line strength analysis included transitions of which the minimum strengths were $5\times 10^{-7} cm^{-2}/atm$ for $H_{2}^{16}O$, and $-10^{-4} cm^{-2}/atm$ (normalized to 100\% sample) for $H_{2}^{17}O$ and $H_{2}^{18}O$ at 296K.
