Abstract: Laser Stark spectra have been observed between the $337\mu m$ line of the HCN laser and the Stark-shifted spectrum of fully deuterated methyl alcohol $(CD_{3}OD)$. Numerous families of absorptions have been found in both parallel and perpendicular polarizations. A relatively strong transition which shows up at high field has been assigned as the $J_{k} = 97-8_{6} A. v_{t} = 0$ torsional state. The other two families originating at low field have tentatively been identified as the $J_{K} = 18_{3}+ 17_{2} F_{1}, v_{t} = 0$ and $J_{K} = 17_{3} + 16_{4} E_{1}, v_{t} = 1$ torsional state.
