Abstract: The analysis of the $(v_{1} + v_{2})$ and $(\nu_{1} + \nu_{2} - \nu_{2})$ bands of ammonia in the Fourier transform spectra, in the region $3100 - 4600 cm^{-1}$ have been carried out. The assignments of these transitions for $^{15}NH_{3}$ have been made for the first time. The advantage of simultaneously analysing the combination band and its hot band will be discussed. The data have been used in a least squares fit to obtain a set of constants for the upper state.
