Abstract: Using asymmetric Fourier transform techniques, the rotational line strengths, and hence, the dipole moment of HCl have been measured. Our value for the dipole moment is $1.134 \pm 0.015$ Debye. These data may be used with absorption data to give line widths. This work was supported, in part, by a contract between the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories and The Ohio State University Research Foundation.
