 Title: THE PURE ROTATIONAL SPECTRUM OF NITRIC OXIDE Creators: Hall, Richard T.; Dowling, Jerome M. Issue Date: 1966 Abstract: The pure rotational spectrum of nitric oxide was measured under high resolution $(\sim0.06 cm^{-1})$ using a lamellar grating $interferometer^{1}$ over the frequency range $18-94 cm^{-1}$. The values of the effective rotational constants, $B_{0}, D_{0}$, and $H_{0}$, were determined by least squares analyses; the values of the effective rotational constants. $B_{0}$, are in close agreement with microwave $values.^{2,3}$ The constants reproduce the observed spectrum to an average deviation of approximately $\pm 0.0012 cm^{-1}$.
