Title: A LASER-RAMAN SPECTROMETER
Creators: Siegler, E. H., Jr.; Hinman, C. D.
Issue Date: 1964
Abstract: A Raman spectrometer has been constructed incorporating a continuous helium-neon gas laser source $(6328 \AA)$, a multiple traversal sample cell located outside the laser, a double-pass grating monochromator and a photomultiplier detector. The experimental arrangement will be described with emphasis on the special design considerations involved in using a laser as a Raman source. Spectra will be shown to illustrate the performance obtained.
