Title: LABORATORY STUDIES OF MOLECULES OF PLANETARY INTEREST
Creators: Rank, D. H.; Wiggins, T. A.
Issue Date: 1964
Abstract: Intensity and line broadening measurements in selected bands of several molecules have been performed for calibration of astronomical plates. These include $CO_{2} (0.87 and 2.1 \mu), NH_{3}(0.64 \mu)$ and $H_{2}$. The results are used for estimation of molecular abundances as well as of planetary pressures and temperatures.
