Abstract: The absorption shifts caused by $W^{VI}$ reduction are examined for various $\frac{V^{V}}{W^{VI+V}}$ and $W^{\frac{V}{VI}}$ ratios. There is accord with structures already inferred for $X(YZ_{2}O_{10})_{4}$ type ions, their salts, and acids. Some anomalies in the data are discussed and additional experiments are suggested, including those with paramagnetic tenancy of X sites.
