Abstract

The measurement of the saturation of microwave rotational lines provides a method of determining the efficiency of molecular collisions for the transfer of rotational energy. Measurement of relative intensity, line width, and absolute power are required. Methods used for these three measurements will be described and some preliminary results presented.
