Abstract: Many new lines of $NH_{2}^{+}$ have been observed in the spectrum we have recorded, between 3500 and $2900 cm^{-1}$ with a difference frequency laser spectrometer using the velocity modulation detection. The ions were generated in an AC glow discharge with a gas mixture of $N_{2}/H_{2}$/He. In their first observation of the $NH_{2}^{+}$ ion. Okumura $et al.^{1}$ were able to assign the $v_{3}$ $\leftarrow$ 0 and $v_{2}+ v_{3}\leftarrow v_{2}$ bands. In the present communication, the observation of the hot bands $v_{1}+ v_{3} \leftarrow v_{1}$, $v_{1}+ v_{2}+ v_{3}\leftarrow v_{1}+ v_{2}$, $2v_{1}+ v_{3}\leftarrow 2v_{1}$ and $2v_{2}+ v_{3}\leftarrow$ $2v_{2} (1=0)$ will be reported. Among the still unassigned lines, our work to identify the $2v_{2}+ v_{3}\leftarrow 2v_{2} (1=2)$ band is underway. The results of this analysis will also be reported. Again hot bands starting from high vibrational states are observed, indicating high vibrational temperature for the stretchings. In this paper we used the linear molecule notations. More about the quasilinearity of $NH_{2}^{+}$ will be discussed in relation with our new results.
