Abstract: The $\tilde{A}^{3}\Pi_{i} - \tilde{X}^{3}\Sigma^{-}$ band of the CCO radical has been reinvestigated by means of near-infrared diode laser spectroscopy with Doppler-limited resolution. The absorption spectrum was measured in the regions of $11607-11919 cm^{-1}, 11960-12011 cm^{-1}$, and $12340-12389 cm^{-1}$, corresponding to the $(000) - (000)$, $(010) - (010)$ and $(010)^{3}\Sigma$ $(-) - (000)^{3}\Sigma$- bands. The $(000) - (000)$ band has been analyzed to obtain detailed molecular constants for $\tilde{A}(000)^{3}\Pi_{i}$ state including A -- type doubling $constants^{1}$. In addition, numerous perturbations, accompanied by intensity anomalies in some cases, have been found in the $Q = 0$ and 1 sublevels of the $\tilde{A}^{3}\Pi_{i}(000)$ state in the present study. Analysis of the $(010) - (010)$ and $(010)^{3}\Sigma^{(-)} -- (000)^{3}\Sigma$- bands yielded molecular constants for both the $\tilde{A}(010)$ and $\tilde{X}(010)$ states, including Renner parameters in the $\tilde{A}(010)$ state and 1-type doubling constant in the $\tilde{X}(010)$ state.
