Title: ANALYSIS OF THE 6100, 6900, AND 10200 $CM^{-1}$ RYDBERG-RYDBERG TRANSITIONS OF ArD Creators: Dabrowski, I.; Herzberg, G.; Johns, J. W. C.; Sadovskii, D.; Vervloet, M. Issue Date: 1991 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: The assignment of four emission bands of the $^{40}ArD$ molecule has been carried out successfully in terms of a common Rydherg state which is trcated as a p($^{2}\Pi$, $^{2}\sum$)-complex. In order to understand the structure of this complex and the corresponding selection rules it is vitally important to include the $l \times$N- type Coriolis interaction along with the spin-orbit coupling. Two states, $^{2}\Pi$ and $^{2}\sum$, discovered several years ago by Johns [J. Molec. Spectroac. 36, 488 (1970)] are involved in the transitions.
