Weber, W. J. Lafferty, and W. B. Olson, paper RE5, Thirty Ninth Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy, The Ohio State University, June 1984. en_US dc.description Author Institution: Molecular Spectroscopy Division, National Bureau of Standards; Molecular Spectroscopy Division, National Bureau of Standards; Molecular Spectroscopy Division, National Bureau of Standards en_US dc.description.abstract New measurements of the IR spectrum of $C_{2}N_{2}$ were obtained with the NBS BOMEM DA3.002 Fourier transform spectrometer equipped with a 20m White cell. The spectra of the $\nu_{1}+\nu^{1}_{5},\ \nu_{3}+v^{1}_{4}$, and $\nu_{1}-\nu^{1}_{5}$ combination and difference bands were recorded at an apodized resolution of $0.004 cm^{-1}$. Because of the low lying fundamentals $\nu^{1}_{4}$ and $\nu^{1}_{5}$ these bands are accompained by numerous hot bands which complicate the assignment process. the $\nu_{3}$ band system was also recorded yielding new measurements superceding those reported earlier [1]. The $\nu_{3}$ band of the $^{13}C^{12}CN_{2}$ isotope, present in the gas in natural abundance, was also observed. Results of the analysis of the $\nu_{1} - \nu_{5}^{1}$ band system will be presented. en_US dc.format.extent 86728 bytes dc.format.mimetype image/jpeg dc.language.iso English en_US dc.publisher Ohio State University en_US dc.title HIGH RESOLUTION INFRARED SPECTRUM OF CYANOGEN en_US dc.type article en_US
