Abstract: Collision broadened line widths of $H_{2}O + air$ and $HDO + N_{2}$ were determined from high resolution spectra covering the $\nu_{1}, 2\nu_{2} and \nu_{3}$ bands for both absorbing molecules. The $N_{2}O + N_{2}$ line widths encompassed the spectral regions of the (1200), (2000), (0111), (0201), (1001) and (0002) bands. The $N_{2}O$ band notation is $(\nu_{1}, \nu_{2},\ell,\nu_{3})$. The $H_{2}O + air$ and $HDO + N_{2}$ measurements were obtained for samples at room temperature and the $ N_{2}O + N_{2} $ spectra were obtained for samples at $ {296}^{\circ} K$ and ${220}^{\circ} K$ . The $N_{2}O + N_{2}({220}^{\circ} K$ ) values are compared to best-fit calculated values given in an earlier study by $Toth.^{1}$ R. A. Toth, J. Mol. Spectrosc. 40, 605-615 (1971).
