 Title: The $\nu_{6}$ FUNDAMENTAL BAND OF ALLENE-$d_{4}$ Creators: Rousan, K. Issue Date: 1981 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: The infrared spectrum of totally deuterated allene, $D_{2}CCCD_{2}$ in the region from about 1880 to $1950 \mbox{cm}^{-1}$ has been recorded under high resolution. The fundamental band $\nu_{6} (b_{2})$, corresponding to the symmetric $C=C$ stretching vibration, is partially overlapped by the hot band $\nu_{6} + \nu_{11} - \nu_{11}$ and other combination bands. The most relevant upper state constants are: $\nu_{0} = 1920.2363 \mbox{cm}^{-1}, \Delta B = -1.111 \times 10^{-3}$ $cm^{-1}$, and $\Delta = -0.69 \times 10^{-3} \mbox{cm}^{-1}$.
