Title: THE $\nu_{4}$ BAND OF $CHD_{3}$ Creators: Lovell, R. J.; Blass, W. E.; Halsey, G. W.; Daunt, S. J. Issue Date: 1981 Publisher: Ohio State University Abstract: The results of a preliminary analysis of the perpendicular band $\nu_{4}$ of $CHD_{3}$, are reported. The band is centered near $2251 \mbox{cm}^{-1}$. More than 1500 lines have been measured with a resolution better than $0.020 \mbox{cm}^{-1}$. Deconvolution techniques have been applied to the observed lines to give an effective resolution of $0.008 \mbox{cm}^{-1}$. The ground state parameters of Jennings and $Blass^{1}$ and the excited state constants from the Raman study by Kattenberg and $Brodersen^{2}$ have been used with a spectrum simulation program to assign a number of lines. The usual analytical techniques and resonant interaction analysis are being applied to assign more lines in this highly perturbed band. Description: $^{1}$ Kattenberg, H.W. and Brodersen, Svend, J.
