Abstract: Various Substituted benzene cations were studied by time, wavelength, and polarization resolved laser induced flourescence in solid No matrices. The polarization behaviour identifies unambiguously emission bands belonging to the $B\rightarrow A$ electronic transition. The ground state vibrational structure and vibronic interactions with the low lying A state are examined.
