Abstract

The $\nu_{6}(A^{\prime\prime}_{2})$ parallel band of $C_{3}D_{6}$ near $2336 cm^{-1}$ has been recorded with resolution between 0.018 - $0.024 cm^{-1}$ on the University of Tennessee five meter Littrow spectrometer. The K-structure for each J value is unresolved below J = 20. Above this some structure is visible but cannot be assigned to specific K values. The Q branch is partially resolved into its J structure and two hot band Q branches are observed. Preliminary analysis of the ground state combination difference yielded $B_{0} = 0.461410 \pm 0.000012 cm^{-1}$ and $D^{J}_{0} = (3.895 \pm 0.071) \times 10^{-7} cm^{-1}$. Refined parameters for the ground and upper states will be reported.
