Title: THE $B \rightarrow X$ SYSTEM OF KrCl Creators: McKeever, Mark R.; Tellinghuisen, Joel; Moeller, Michael B. Issue Date: 1978 Abstract: The bound-free $B \rightarrow X$ (2200 {\AA}) transition In KrCl is studied as a function of the pressure of $Cl_{2}$, Kr, and several third gases (Ar, He, $N_{2}$). The infinite-pressure extrapolated spectrum is analyzed computationally to yield approximate potential curves for both states. The finite pressure data are then used to obtain relative vibrational populations for the first few v^{\prime} levels, from which we deduce quenching end vibrational relaxation rates.
