Empirical Musicology Review (EMR) is a peer reviewed open access journal published three times a year at http://emusicology.org/. Content from the first six years of publication (2006-2012) and supplementary materials are archived here; current articles can be found on the journal website. EMR aims to provide an international forum promoting the understanding of music in all of its facets. In particular, EMR aims to facilitate communication and debate between scholars engaged in systematic and observation-based music scholarship.
