Established in 1969, the mission of the East Asian Studies Center (EASC) is to coordinate and support research and instructional activities as well as to assist in the development of relevant degree programs in East Asian Studies. It is also designated as a vehicle to transmit faculty expertise and university resources to the civic, educational, and business communities in our region.
