Since about 1948, the Geology Section of the Ohio Academy of Science has held a field trip in connection with the annual meeting. Guidebooks or road logs were prepared for those attending the field trip. This collection includes those that could be located and verified as Ohio Academy of Science Geology Section field trips. Most of the copies are in collection of the Ohio State University, Orton Memorial Library of Geology. There is no master list of field trips so there is no way to know if this collection is complete or not. As possible missing guidebooks are discovered they will be added.
