Abstract
This investigation characterizes the stretching (valence) frequencies of the $-{P}^{\prime}^{\prime}_^{\prime}-{O}-\phi$ (phenyl) and the $-{P}^{\prime}^{\prime}_^{\prime}-{O}-{R}$ linkages in a large number of organo-phosphorus compounds. The frequency range of the $P-$Cl bond in several types of compounds has also been established.
