| Abstract: | The Knowledge Bank is a digital repository that collects, stores, shares, and preserves important academic assets such as publications, reports, theses, working papers, photographs, and learning objects. The project received funding from a Board of Regent's Research Grant in 2003. To date, there are 12 "communities" at the University using the Knowledge Bank, and they have contributed 247 digital collections or assets. The project is also helping support the development of the Expertise System for collecting and sharing expertise information about University faculty and staff. |
