Abstract:	This is the minutes for the Council on Academic Affairs' meeting on October 22, 2008. Daniel A. Mendelsohn and W. Randy Smith (the Chair and Vice Chair, respectively) gave comments regarding relevant updates. Professor Linda L. Harlow presented the Annual Report on Honors. Professors Daniel A. Mendelsohn and W. Randy Smith presented the proposals on the tabled revision to the Physics major, to create a Economics Graduate minor, to revise the Economics minor, to change the name from "Textiles and Clothing" to "Fashion and Retail Studies" for both the undergraduate program and the graduate specialization, to create graduate specializations in Environment and Natural Resources, and to revise the Professional Golf Management major.
