Abstract:	This is the minutes for the Council on Academic Affairs' meeting on October 17, 2007. E. Kay Halasek and W. Randy Smith (the Chair and Vice Chair, respectively) gave comments regarding relevant updates. Professor E. Kay Halasek presented the proposal to revise the curriculum for the Master's of Arts in Slavic and East European Studies. Professor Halina Stephan discussed the proposal with the Council. Professors E. Kay Halasek and W. Randy Smith updated the Council on the Proposal for Articulation with North Central State College for the Early and Middle Childhood Education Program at OSU-Mansfield. Professors E. Kay Halasek and W. Randy Smith presented the proposal to establish a minor in Military Science.
