| dc.description.abstract | This is the minutes for the Council on Academic Affairs' meeting on May 21, 2008. This document gives detailed notes on the presentations, comments, and discussions that went on during the meeting. E. Kay Halasek and W. Randy Smith (the Chair and Vice Chair, respectively) gave comments regarding current proposals. The Dean of College of Engineering Baeslack, Interim Dean Fisher College of Business Steve Mangum, and Associate Dean College of Law Josh Stulberg gave regular clinical track faculty updates from their colleges. Dan Mendelsohn, Chair of Subcommittee A, gave an overview of the proposal to revise Sociology and Criminology majors. This proposal was discussed with Coordinating Academic Advisor Karyl Shirkey, Chair Professor Craig Jenkins, and Undergraduate Studies Chair Professor Paul Ballair, and the revision was tabled pending receipt of revisions to align with the advising sheet. | en_US |
