| Abstract: | The infrared spectrum of $^{13}CD_{3}F$ is quite complicated in the region near $5\mu m$ due to the presence of 24 vibrational levels. The principal bands in this region are the $\upsilon_{1}$ and $\upsilon_{4}$ fundamentals. We have attempted to analyze the observed spectrum including all obeserved resonances. The analysis includes the unusually strong $2\upsilon_{5}$, $\ell = 0$ band; an explanation of the observed intensity as a function of J and K is presented. At this time, over 15 resonances are included in the analysis. |
