The National Symposium on Doctoral Research in Social Work
showcases dissertation research of recent PhD and DSW graduates
from across the United States and Canada. Each year a distinguished
scholar in the field of social work is invited to give a keynote
address and approximately six to twelve recent PhD or DSW graduates
are selected through a competitive process and invited to present
papers based on their dissertation research. The Ohio State
University
College of Social Work has hosted the National Symposium
on Doctoral Research
in Social Work since 1985.
