The National Symposium on Doctoral Research in Social Work showcases dissertation research of recent PhD and DSW graduates from across the United States and Canada. Each year a distinguished scholar in the field of social work is invited to give a keynote address and approximately six to twelve recent PhD or DSW graduates are selected through a competitive process and invited to present papers based on their dissertation research. College of Social Work has hosted the National Symposium on Doctoral Research
in Social Work since 1985.
