| Abstract: | This investigation was carried out to study the effects of light on the ribonucleotidebase composition of coleoptiles and primary leaves of oat seedlings (Avena sativa L., var. victory). The effects of aging on the base composition of primary leaves were also studied. The nucleotides obtained by alkaline hydrolysis of ribonucleic acid were separated by eluting a Dowex-1-X8 column with formic acid and ammonium formate. |
