The Criminal Justice Research Center (CJRC) was established as the focal point for collaborative interdisciplinary research on crime/delinquency and justice issues. In addition to conducting and facilitating interdisciplinary research, the Center fosters intellectual exchange among faculty, graduate students, policymakers and practitioners, and provides research-based outreach to those involved in developing policy on crime and justice matters. The Center is directed by Dr. Ruth D. Peterson (Sociology), with Lauren J. Krivo (Sociology) serving as the Associate Director. Dr. Lawrence Baum (Political Science) chairs the CJRC Oversight Committee.
